Following these simple recommendations during the first 600 miles (1,000 km) of driving can help maximize the long-term performance, fuel efficiency, durability, and overall service life of your Kia Telluride:

• Do not race the engine or subject it to unnecessarily high engine speeds.

• Avoid sudden or aggressive acceleration whenever possible.

• Do not operate the engine at one constant speed, whether high or low, for extended periods. Varying engine speed during the break-in period helps internal engine components wear in properly.

• Avoid hard braking except in emergency situations, allowing the brake components to seat evenly for optimal braking performance.

• Do not tow a trailer during the first 1,200 miles (2,000 km) of vehicle operation.
