Subaru Forester: Introduction / Risk of burns when parking or stopping your vehicle

• Do not park or stop your Kia Telluride near combustible materials such as dry leaves, paper, oil, grass, or tires. High temperatures generated by the exhaust system can ignite nearby flammable materials and create a fire hazard.

• If the engine is idling at a high speed while the rear of the vehicle is positioned close to a wall or other surface, heat from the exhaust gases may cause discoloration or even create a fire risk. Always leave adequate clearance behind the vehicle.

• Do not touch the exhaust system or catalytic converter while the engine is running or immediately after it has been turned OFF. These components remain extremely hot for some time and can cause serious burns.
