Before servicing or touching any lighting components on your Kia Telluride, verify that the ignition is in the OFF position, the vehicle is safely parked with the parking brake fully engaged, and all light switches are turned off. Light replacement

Headlamp lens

To prevent scratching, cracking, or permanent chemical degradation of the polycarbonate protective coating, never clean the Kia Telluride headlamp lenses with harsh chemical solvents, petroleum-based cleaners, or abrasive detergents.

To maintain optical clarity and prevent surface damage to the headlamp lens, avoid applying aggressive cleaning solutions, industrial degreasers, or abrasive compounds during routine vehicle detailing.

Following any front-end collision or full removal and reinstallation of the headlamp assembly, always have the Kia Telluride headlamp alignment and beam aim professionally adjusted by an authorized Kia dealer to ensure proper road illumination without blinding oncoming drivers.

• Disconnecting a light bulb or removing a lamp wiring connector while the circuit is actively powered may cause the integrated Body Control Module (BCM) or smart fuse box to register a electrical fault. This will record a persistent Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) in the Kia Telluride system memory, requiring professional diagnostic tools to clear.

• It is completely normal for operational lights to exhibit a momentary brief flicker when activated, as the electronic control unit stabilizes power delivery across the vehicle's electrical circuit. If the lamp maintains steady illumination immediately after a single brief pulse, the system is operating within normal parameters.

  However, if a headlight or exterior lamp continues to flicker repeatedly or shuts off completely, an electrical anomaly or control module fault may be present. In this scenario, schedule an immediate vehicle inspection with an authorized Kia dealer service center.

After driving through heavy rainfall, operating in high humidity, or taking your Kia Telluride through an automated car wash, you may notice mild fogging or moisture misting inside the headlight lenses. This temporary condensation occurs naturally due to the temperature differential between the warm interior air of the sealed lamp housing and the colder exterior ambient environment. It does not indicate a structural leak or mechanical defect. Moisture will dissipate naturally as you drive with the headlamps turned on, though the clearing time varies depending on ambient humidity, outside temperature, and overall lamp surface area. If liquid water pools inside the housing or persistent droplets remain for several days, have the assembly inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.
