The Kia Telluride seat warmer is designed to provide additional comfort during cold weather by gently heating the seat cushions and backrests, creating a warmer and more pleasant driving experience for both the driver and passengers.

With the vehicle in the ON position:
Press the appropriate seat warmer button to activate heating for the driver's seat or the front passenger's seat. If equipped, rear seat controls operate in the same straightforward manner.
During warmer weather or whenever seat heating is unnecessary, keep the seat warmer switched off to avoid unnecessary power consumption and excessive seat temperature.
For safety and convenience, the Kia Telluride seat warmer defaults to the OFF position each time the vehicle is switched to the ON position unless the Last Mode function is enabled.
Temperature control (manual)
Each press of the control button cycles through the available heating levels in the following order:
Front seat:
Off > High > Medium > Low > Off
Rear seat:
Off > High > Medium > Low > Off
Temperature control (automatic)
After the Kia Telluride seat warmer is switched on manually, the system automatically regulates seat temperature to help reduce the possibility of low-temperature burns while maintaining a comfortable level of warmth.

To switch the seat warmer off completely, press and hold the control button for more than two seconds.
WARNING
Seat Warmer Burns
Passengers should use seat warmers with great care because prolonged exposure to heated seats may result in low-temperature burns, even when the heat level feels comfortable. Drivers should pay particular attention when transporting:
Infants, children, elderly individuals, people with disabilities, or hospital outpatients.
People with sensitive skin or individuals who are more susceptible to burns.
Passengers who are fatigued or asleep.
Individuals under the influence of alcohol.
People taking medications that may cause drowsiness or reduce awareness, including sleeping pills, cold medications, or similar drugs.
NOTE
When cleaning seats equipped with seat warmers, avoid using organic solvents such as paint thinner, benzene, alcohol, or gasoline. These products may damage the seat upholstery or heating components.
To prevent overheating, do not place insulating materials such as blankets, cushions, or aftermarket seat covers over seats while the seat warmer is operating.
Avoid placing heavy, pointed, or sharp objects on heated seats, as they may damage the internal heating elements.
Do not replace or modify the original seat covers. Altering the seat upholstery may interfere with the proper operation of the Kia Telluride seat warmer or seat ventilation system.
TIP
While the controls remain activated, the heating elements automatically cycle on and off as needed to maintain the selected seat temperature and provide consistent comfort.
Last Mode: (if equipped)
This feature remembers the previously selected temperature level for the driver's heated and ventilated seat after the vehicle has been switched off. For example, if the driver's seat warmer was set to Level 3 (High) before the engine was turned off, the Kia Telluride can automatically restore that same setting the next time the vehicle is started. Only the driver's heated and ventilated seat temperature settings are retained.
Setting Last Mode
You can enable or disable this function by selecting Seats > Heated/Ventilated Convenience > Retain Driver Heated/Ventilated Settings from the infotainment system menu.
Settings that have been modified automatically by the system are generally not stored permanently and may return to their previous values after the automatic adjustment ends.
For example, if the system automatically lowers the seat warmer level to regulate temperature, the Kia Telluride will remember the manually selected setting that was active before the automatic adjustment occurred.
