Subaru Forester: Connecting a trailer / Side mirrors

After hitching a trailer to your vehicle,
check that the standard side mirrors
provide a good rearward field of view
without significant blind spots. If significant
blind spots occur with the vehicle’s standard
side mirrors, use towing mirrors that
conform with Federal, state/province and/
or other applicable regulations.
CAUTION
Direct splicing or other improper
connection of trailer lights may
damage your vehicle’s electrical
system and cause a malfunction of
your vehicle’s lighting system...
Other information:
Pull the reclining lever up and adjust the
seatback to the desired position. Then
release the lever and make sure the
seatback is securely locked into place.
The seatback placed in a reclined position
can spring back upward with force when
the lever is pulled...
If your vehicle is equipped with a combination meter display (color LCD),
setting adjustments to the following items can be manually
changed within the display to meet your personal requirements.
NOTE
If your vehicle is not equipped with a combination meter display
(color LCD), setting changes to the following items will
need to be performed by a SUBARU dealer...
