Subaru Forester: Connecting a trailer / Side mirrors

After hitching a trailer to your vehicle,
check that the standard side mirrors
provide a good rearward field of view
without significant blind spots. If significant
blind spots occur with the vehicle’s standard
side mirrors, use towing mirrors that
conform with Federal, state/province and/
or other applicable regulations.
CAUTION
Direct splicing or other improper
connection of trailer lights may
damage your vehicle’s electrical
system and cause a malfunction of
your vehicle’s lighting system...

Press the release button, and pull out the
head restraint.
To install:
Push the head restraint into the holes on
the top of the seatback until it locks. Press
and hold the release button to lower the
head restraint...
While driving, the Driver Monitoring System
monitors possible cases of driver
inattention or drowsiness and warns the
driver.
When the inattentive/drowsy driving warning
activates, the buzzer sounds and an
interrupt display appears.

The inattentive/drowsy driving warning
operates regardless of the status of
the user recognition function...
