If your vehicle is equipped with a combination meter display (color LCD),
setting adjustments to the following items can be manually
changed within the display to meet your personal requirements.
NOTE
- If your vehicle is not equipped with a combination meter display
(color LCD), setting changes to the following items will
need to be performed by a SUBARU dealer. Refer to “Function settings and
adjustments performed by a dealer”.
- For setting adjustments to the following items, refer to the
appropriate page for details.

Roof crossbars
Roof tent
Occupants in the roof tent
The total weight on the roof rails –
including the roof crossbars, roof tent,
and all occupants and contents in the roof
tent – must not exceed either the vehicle’s
roof rail load limit (700 lbs (317 kg)), evenly
distributed, or the load limit of the roof
crossbars, whichever is lower...
It is not necessary to check the gear oil
level. Check that there are no cracks,
damage or leakage. However, the oil
inspection should be performed according
to the maintenance schedule in the “Warranty
and Maintenance Booklet”. Consult
your SUBARU dealer for details...
