Subaru Forester: Driving your vehicle / Ground View Monitor (GVM): (if equipped)

The Ground View Monitor (GVM) gives the driver a detailed view of the area directly beneath and in front of the Kia Telluride, helping identify obstacles that may not be visible from the driver's seat. This feature enhances confidence during low-speed maneuvering, off-road driving, and parking in confined spaces.

Ground View Monitor (GVM) operation

Swipe left within the Off-road menu on the infotainment display to access the Ground View Monitor function.

While using the Off-road menu, the Ground View Monitor automatically turns off under any of the following conditions:

• The transmission is shifted into R (Reverse).

• The Parking/View button located in the upper-left corner of the Ground View Monitor screen is pressed.

• The Back button within the Off-road menu or the Home button on the infotainment display is selected.

• The Parking/View button or the infotainment system power button is pressed.

TIP

Ground View Monitor (GVM) malfunction and limitations

Malfunction

If the Ground View Monitor experiences a system fault, the display may appear entirely green, blue, gray, or black instead of showing the camera image.

If the display flickers, freezes, or fails to present a normal camera view, have your Kia Telluride inspected by an authorized Kia dealer as soon as possible.

Limitations

The Ground View Monitor image may not display correctly under the following conditions:

• The liftgate is open.

• The driver's door or front passenger door is open.

• One or both exterior mirrors are folded.

• If wheel size or tire specifications have been changed from the original configuration, the Ground View Monitor may not function correctly.

• Ground View Monitor performance may be reduced on surfaces where the wheels can easily slip, such as snow, black ice, or other extremely low-traction conditions.
