• Never allow anyone to ride in the cargo area or on a folded rear seat. Every occupant should remain seated upright with their back against the seatback, seat belt securely fastened, and both feet resting on the floor while the Kia Telluride is moving.

• Do not change seats or move around inside the vehicle while it is in motion. An unrestrained passenger can be thrown against the interior, other occupants, or even ejected from the vehicle during sudden braking or a collision.

• Each seat belt is intended for only one occupant. Sharing a single seat belt between two people, including children, greatly increases the risk of severe injury or death in an accident.

• Do not use seat belt accessories or positioning devices unless specifically approved. Products that claim to improve comfort may reduce the effectiveness of the restraint system and compromise occupant protection.

• Keep hard or sharp objects away from the air bag deployment area. Carrying rigid objects on your lap, in your hands, or in your mouth can lead to serious injuries if an air bag deploys.

• Maintain a safe distance from the air bag modules. All occupants should sit upright with the seat adjusted correctly, the seat belt fastened, and their feet on the floor. Sitting too close to an air bag increases the risk of injury when it deploys.

• Do not attach or place objects on or near any air bag cover. Accessories, decorations, or electronic devices can interfere with proper air bag deployment and may become dangerous projectiles during a crash.

• Do not modify the front seats. Alterations to the seat structure or upholstery may affect the operation of the Supplemental Restraint System sensors and the side air bags installed in your Kia Telluride.

• Keep the area beneath the front seats clear. Objects stored under the seats may interfere with SRS wiring, sensors, or other components that are essential for proper system operation.

• Never carry an infant or child on your lap. During a collision, it is impossible to hold a child securely. Always use an appropriate Child Restraint System or seat belt suited to the child's age, height, and weight, and install it in the rear seating area whenever possible.
