Subaru Forester: Warning and indicator / BSD/RCTA warning light (if equipped)

This warning indicator appears when the
BSD/RCTA is malfunctioning. In this case
the BSD/RCTA warning light will be shown
on the combination meter display (color
LCD). When this indicator appears, have
your vehicle inspected by your SUBARU
dealer as soon as possible.
BSD/RCTA OFF indicator light

The indicator appears when the BSD/
RCTA OFF switch is pressed to deactivate
the BSD/RCTA or when the BSD/RCTA is
suspended temporarily. In this case the
BSD/RCTA OFF indicator light will be
shown on the combination meter display
(color LCD). For details, refer to “BSD/RCTA”.
X-MODE indicator light (if equipped)

Other information:
Press the AUTO button. The indicator
light “FULL AUTO” on the multi-function
display (color LCD) illuminates.
Set the preferred temperature using
the temperature control dial.
NOTE
If you operate any of the buttons on the
control panel other than the ON/OFF
button, the rear window defogger button,
the SYNC button (if equipped) and
the temperature control dial(s) during
FULL AUTO mode operation, the
“FULL” indicator light on the control
panel will turn off and the “AUTO”
indicator light will remain illuminated...
