Subaru Forester: Wipers and washers / Camera cleaning system

If the rear camera lens becomes dirty, the image shown on the display may appear unclear or blurred. Use the washer system to help clean the camera and restore better rear visibility.

To spray washer fluid onto the rear camera, push the wiper lever toward the instrument cluster.

• The rear window wiper will operate, and washer fluid will be sprayed onto both the rear window and the camera lens.

• If the lever is pushed and held, the wipers will continue operating and washer fluid will be sprayed repeatedly.

• Release the lever once the camera lens is clean. The washer system will stop spraying.

• If dirt remains on the camera lens, gently clean it with a soft cloth or a cotton swab moistened with water.
