Subaru Forester: Wipers and washers / Rear windshield wiper and washer operation

The rear windshield wiper and washer switch is positioned at the end of the wiper control lever for convenient operation.

  • Turn the switch to the desired setting to operate the rear wiper and washer.

    • HI: Normal rear wiper operation

    • LO: Intermittent rear wiper operation

    • OFF: Rear wiper off

  • Push the lever away from you to spray washer fluid onto the rear glass and operate the rear wiper several times.

    The washer spray and rear wiper operation will continue until the lever is released.

    When the front wipers are operating and the vehicle is shifted into R (Reverse), the rear wiper may activate once to improve rear visibility.

    The rear wiper operates while the Kia Telluride is in R (Reverse) with the front wiper switched on.

    Select Setup > Vehicle > Convenience > Auto Rear Wiper (in R) from the infotainment system to adjust this function.

    This display shows the average vehicle speed since the trip meter was last reset. Pressing the TRIP RESET switch toggles the display between the average vehicle speed corresponding to the A trip meter display and the average vehicle speed corresponding to the B trip meter display. When either of the trip meter displays is reset, the corresponding average vehicle speed value is also reset.
