Manual folding mirrors

On select Kia Telluride models, the outside rearview mirrors can be folded manually. Simply grasp the mirror housing firmly and gently pivot it toward the rear of the vehicle to tuck it against the body.

Electric folding mirrors

For models equipped with power-folding mirrors, you can easily fold or unfold the outside rearview mirrors by pressing the dedicated control button, as illustrated below:

• To fold your Kia Telluride mirrors, simply press the folding switch button.

• To return them to the driving position, press the button once more.

  Caution and battery care

  The power-folding mirrors remain adjustable even when the Kia Telluride ignition is in the 'ACC' or 'OFF' position. To prevent unintended battery drain, avoid repetitive adjustments while the engine is not running.

  Maintenance note

  Never attempt to fold an electric-type rearview mirror by hand. Applying manual force to the housing can strip the gears or cause catastrophic failure of the mirror's motor mechanism.
