Subaru Forester: Fuses / Inner panel fuse replacement

To safely replace a blown fuse in your interior cabin panel, carefully follow these step-by-step procedures:

1. Ensure your Kia Telluride is parked safely, turn the engine off, and verify that the ignition switch, exterior lighting, and all electrical accessories are switched to the OFF position.
2. Locate and gently remove the interior fuse panel cover situated on the lower driver-side instrument panel bolster.
3. Identify the circuit in question using the panel diagram, then pull the suspected fuse straight out from its terminal slot using the plastic fuse removal tool stored inside the engine compartment main fuse box.
4. Inspect the removed fuse's internal element to determine if the metal filament has melted or broken. If blown, replace it immediately with a new fuse of matching amperage.

   Spare replacement fuses are conveniently stored inside the main instrument panel fuse block cover or within the engine compartment fuse box of your Kia Telluride.

5. To complete the replacement, press a fresh fuse of identical rating firmly into the terminal slot until it sits completely flush and secure within the retaining clips.

   If the new replacement fuse fits loosely or fails to make solid contact, refrain from operating the circuit and consult an authorized Kia dealer.

   If you lack a dedicated spare fuse in an emergency, temporarily substitute the blown unit with a spare or non-essential fuse of equal amperage from an auxiliary circuit—such as the 12V power outlet or cigarette lighter fuse.

   If your vehicle's exterior headlamps or interior cabin lights fail to illuminate while their respective fuses remain completely intact, have the electrical system diagnosed by an authorized Kia dealer.
