Exercise extreme caution whenever driving in areas near static obstacles, nearby pedestrians, and especially young children. Depending on an object's overall distance, physical size, height, or surface material, the ultrasonic sensors may fail to detect it in time, which can significantly reduce the overall effectiveness of the system.
The Parking Distance Warning does not necessarily trigger alerts in the exact chronological order that obstacles are first detected.
