The Kia Telluride provides several convenient storage compartments for keeping frequently used personal belongings organized and easily accessible for both the driver and passengers.
To reduce the risk of theft, avoid leaving valuable items unattended inside any storage compartment.
Always ensure storage compartment covers and lids are fully closed while driving. Avoid overloading any compartment with items that prevent it from closing securely.
WARNING
Flammable materials
Do not store gas lighters, portable batteries, canned beverages, spray cans, propane cylinders, cosmetic tubes, or other flammable or explosive materials inside the vehicle. Prolonged exposure to high interior temperatures may cause these items to ignite, rupture, or explode.

To access the dedicated sunglass holder in your Kia Telluride, simply apply gentle pressure to the cover, and it will descend in a smooth, controlled motion.
For optimal protection and to prevent potential lens scratches, place your sunglasses inside with the lenses facing outward.
To securely close the compartment, push the lid upward until you feel it click firmly into its latched position.
WARNING
Ensure that you store only sunglasses in this holder. The storage of loose objects or miscellaneous items is discouraged, as they may become dangerous projectiles during sudden maneuvers, emergency braking, or an accident, creating a significant risk of occupant injury.
For safety reasons, do not attempt to open the sunglass holder while the vehicle is in motion. An open holder can obstruct the driver's clear view of the rearview mirror, potentially hindering situational awareness.
Avoid forcing glasses into the compartment if they do not fit easily. Applying excessive force can lead to the deformation or breakage of your eyewear, and may even cause personal injury if the holder becomes jammed and you attempt to force it open.
To maintain order and prevent your cargo from shifting during transit, the Kia Telluride is equipped with four anchor points in the cargo area specifically designed to secure your luggage net (if so equipped). Furthermore, for greater versatility, you can fold the luggage net in half and configure it to attach vertically using the four supplementary holders found on each side of the cargo space.
|
|
Should you require assistance or have questions regarding these accessories, please contact an authorized Kia dealer.
NOTE
DO NOT overstretch the luggage net beyond its intended capacity and ALWAYS keep your face and body away from the net's potential recoil path. Failure to adhere to these safety instructions could result in severe facial injuries. Furthermore, DO NOT utilize the luggage net if the material or straps show any visible signs of wear, fraying, or damage.
CAUTION
To prevent avoidable damage to your belongings or the vehicle interior, exercise extra care when transporting fragile, irregular, or bulky items within the Kia Telluride luggage compartment.

WARNING
For your safety, never place uncovered cups containing hot liquids on the table while the vehicle is in operation. Spilled hot liquids pose a significant risk of severe burns.
Do not place heavy, sharp, or fragile objects on the table. During a collision or sudden movement, these items can cause substantial damage to the vehicle's interior or result in serious bodily injury to occupants.
NOTE
To prevent accidental spills, ensure all beverages are securely sealed. If liquid does spill, it can potentially infiltrate the Kia Telluride electrical or electronic systems, causing irreparable damage to sensitive components.
When cleaning up spills, do not apply heat or use heated devices to dry the luggage table, as this can lead to surface warping or material damage.
Enhance the utility of your Kia Telluride by using the removable luggage partition, which allows you to flexibly divide the lower storage area to suit your specific packing needs.

To remove the partition, simply pull it upward. When not in use, this partition can be easily stored in the lower storage area for convenience.
