The Blind-spot View Monitor is an advanced safety feature designed to provide enhanced peace of mind during lane changes. By utilizing integrated cameras, this system automatically projects a live video feed of your vehicle's rear blind spots directly into the Kia Telluride instrument cluster whenever you activate your turn signal.

Driver Assistance Driving Safety Blind-Spot View Monitor

While your Kia Telluride is in the ON power state, you can easily customize the behavior of your safety systems. Navigate to Setup > Vehicle > Driver Assistance > Driving Safety > Blind-Spot View Monitor on your infotainment touchscreen. From this menu, you can toggle the Blind-Spot View Monitor settings to suit your driving preferences, ensuring the system integrates perfectly with your daily commute.

The Blind-Spot View Monitor is designed for seamless, intuitive interaction. The system automatically engages and disengages based on your turn signal usage, providing real-time visual support exactly when you need it most while navigating the Kia Telluride through traffic.

Operating conditions

• Whenever you activate the left or right turn signal, the Blind-Spot View Monitor instantly projects a high-definition image of the corresponding blind spot directly onto your Kia Telluride instrument cluster, significantly increasing situational awareness.

Non-operating conditions

To ensure you maintain focus on primary vehicle alerts, the Blind-Spot View Monitor will automatically turn OFF under the following conditions:

• When you deactivate the turn signal.

• When the hazard light system is active, as these take priority.

• When the Kia Telluride instrument cluster displays a high-priority warning message that requires the driver's full attention.

Blind-Spot View Monitor malfunction

If you notice the instrument cluster display flickering, or if the camera feed fails to appear when the turn signal is engaged, there may be a system fault. In such cases, please have the Blind-Spot View Monitor inspected by a certified technician at an authorized Kia dealer to restore full functionality to your Kia Telluride.
