Forward Attention Warning evaluates whether the driver is focused on the road by using information such as how long the driver looks away, how long the driver’s eyes remain closed, and similar attention-related conditions. If the system determines that the driver is not focused, an audible warning sounds for about 1 second, and the Forward attention warning light (
) appears on the cluster until the conditions for turning the warning off are met.

When the driver’s eyes remain closed for 2 seconds or more while driving above 6 mph (10 km/h)
