Electronic Stability Control (ESC) indicator light

This indicator light operates under the following conditions:

• It illuminates for approximately 3 seconds after the ENGINE START/STOP button is switched to the ON position as part of the normal self-check procedure.

• If the ESC system detects a malfunction. If this occurs, have your Kia Telluride inspected by an authorized Kia dealer as soon as possible.

The indicator flashes whenever the Electronic Stability Control system is actively helping maintain vehicle stability.

Electronic Stability Control (ESC) OFF indicator light

This indicator light appears in the following situations:

• For approximately 3 seconds after the ENGINE START/STOP button is placed in the ON position.

• When the ESC system has been manually disabled by pressing the ESC OFF button.

Auto Stop indicator light

This indicator light illuminates whenever the engine enters Idle Stop mode as part of the ISG (Idle Stop and Go) system.

It will flash for approximately 5 seconds when the engine automatically restarts through normal ISG operation.

TIP

AUTO HOLD indicator light

This indicator light functions as follows:

• White: The Auto Hold system has been activated after pressing the AUTO HOLD button.

• Green: The vehicle has come to a complete stop and Auto Hold is actively maintaining brake pressure.

• Yellow: A malfunction has been detected in the Auto Hold system. Have your Kia Telluride inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.

Immobilizer indicator light (with smart key)

This indicator light remains illuminated for up to 30 seconds when the vehicle successfully recognizes the smart key inside the Kia Telluride while the ENGINE START/STOP button is in the ACC or ON position. The light turns off after the engine has been started.

This indicator flashes for several seconds if the smart key is not detected inside the vehicle. Under these conditions, the engine cannot be started.

The indicator also illuminates for approximately 2 seconds before turning off if the vehicle cannot detect the smart key while the ENGINE START/STOP button is in the ON position. If this occurs, have the system checked by an authorized Kia dealer.

This indicator light blinks:

• When the smart key battery is weak. In this situation, the engine can only be started by pressing the ENGINE START/STOP button directly with the smart key. For additional information, refer to the Immobilizer System section.

• When a malfunction is detected in the immobilizer system or smart key recognition system. Have your Kia Telluride inspected by an authorized Kia dealer if the indicator continues to flash abnormally.

When the immobilizer system is not operating correctly. If this occurs, have your Kia Telluride inspected by an authorized Kia dealer as soon as possible.

Turn signal indicator light

This indicator flashes whenever the turn signals or hazard lights are activated.

If you notice any of the following conditions, the turn signal system may not be functioning correctly and your Kia Telluride should be inspected by an authorized Kia dealer:

• The indicator illuminates continuously without flashing.

• The indicator flashes noticeably faster than normal.

• The indicator does not illuminate when the turn signal is activated.

Low beam indicator light

This indicator illuminates whenever the low-beam headlights are switched ON.

High beam indicator light

This indicator appears under the following conditions:

• When the high-beam headlights are turned ON.

• When the Flash-to-Pass feature is activated using the headlamp lever.

High Beam Assist indicator light

This indicator operates as follows:

• It illuminates when the lighting switch is set to AUTO and the high beams are active.

• When the Kia Telluride detects oncoming traffic or vehicles ahead, the High Beam Assist system automatically changes the headlights from high beam to low beam to help reduce glare for other road users.

Light ON indicator light

This indicator appears whenever the taillights or headlights are switched ON.

Front fog indicator light : (if equipped)

This indicator illuminates whenever the front fog lamps are turned ON.

Lane Safety indicator light

This indicator functions as follows:

• It illuminates for approximately 3 seconds after the ENGINE START/STOP button is switched to the ON position during the normal system self-check.

• Gray: Lane Keeping Assist operating conditions have not yet been met.

• Green: Lane Keeping Assist is available and its operating conditions have been satisfied.

• Yellow: Lane Safety has been disabled or a system malfunction has been detected.

  If the yellow indicator remains illuminated after any dirt, snow, or obstruction has been removed from the sensor while Lane Safety is turned ON, have your Kia Telluride inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.

The indicator flashes green whenever Lane Keeping Assist is actively providing steering assistance.

Downhill Brake Control (DBC) indicator light

This indicator operates under the following conditions:

• It illuminates for approximately 3 seconds after the ENGINE START/STOP button is switched to the ON position.

• When the Downhill Brake Control system has been activated by pressing the DBC button.

The indicator flashes while the DBC system is actively controlling vehicle speed on a descent.

If the indicator illuminates yellow continuously, a malfunction has been detected in the Downhill Brake Control system.

In this situation, have your Kia Telluride inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.

All Wheel Drive (AWD) LOCK indicator light

This indicator operates under the following conditions:

• It illuminates for approximately 3 seconds after the ENGINE START/STOP button is switched to the ON position as part of the Kia Telluride system self-check.

• It remains illuminated whenever AWD LOCK mode is selected by pressing the AWD LOCK button. This mode enhances traction by distributing additional drive force when driving on wet roads, snow-covered surfaces, loose gravel, or other off-road terrain.

NOTE

Drive mode indicator light (ECO/SPORT/MY): (if equipped)

This indicator changes according to the currently selected drive mode, allowing you to confirm the active driving profile at a glance.

Inattentive Driving indicator light : (if equipped)

This indicator functions as follows:

• It illuminates for approximately 3 seconds after the ENGINE START/STOP button is placed in the ON position.

• Yellow: Driver Attention Warning has been turned off or a malfunction has been detected.

  If the indicator remains illuminated after any dirt, snow, or obstruction has been removed from the front view camera, have your Kia Telluride inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.

The indicator flashes yellow whenever the Driver Attention Warning system recommends that the driver take a rest break.

Intelligent Speed Limit Assist indicator light : (if equipped)

This indicator operates under the following conditions:

• It illuminates for approximately 3 seconds after the ENGINE START/STOP button is switched to the ON position.

• Yellow: Intelligent Speed Limit Assist is turned OFF, temporarily unavailable, or a system malfunction has been detected.

• When Intelligent Speed Limit Assist is active, the detected speed limit is displayed in the instrument cluster. If the Kia Telluride exceeds the detected speed limit, the displayed speed limit changes to red to alert the driver.

Highway Lane Change Assist indicator light : (if equipped)

This indicator provides the current operating status of the Highway Lane Change Assist system.

• Green: Highway Lane Change Assist is available and ready to operate.

• Gray: Highway Lane Change Assist is on standby and waiting for operating conditions to be met.

This indicator flashes under the following conditions:

• Green: Highway Lane Change Assist is actively performing a lane change.

• White: Highway Lane Change Assist has been canceled or interrupted.

Lane Following Assist indicator light

This indicator operates as follows:

• It illuminates when Lane Following Assist is switched ON using the dedicated control button.

• Yellow: A malfunction has been detected in the Lane Following Assist system or the feature is unavailable.
