This feature automatically switches the Kia Telluride climate control system to recirculated air mode based on navigation information and vehicle speed. It helps reduce the amount of outside pollutants entering the cabin when driving through tunnels or areas with unpleasant odors.
The system can also automatically activate when the windshield washer is used, helping reduce washer fluid odor from entering the passenger compartment.
Select Settings > Vehicle > Climate > Recirculate Air on the infotainment system screen.
Activate upon Washer Fluid Use: Automatically switches to recirculated air to help prevent washer fluid odor from entering the cabin.
Activate upon Entering Tunnels: Automatically closes the windows and switches the climate control system to recirculated air when approaching a tunnel.
Approximately 7 seconds before entering a tunnel, the climate control system automatically changes from fresh air mode to recirculated air mode.
