Do not use the Remote Smart Parking Assist system while towing a trailer or another vehicle, or when a rear-mounted bicycle rack, cargo carrier, or non-standard equipment is installed. These attachments physically block sensor line-of-sight and compromise vehicle stability, preventing proper system operation.

When connecting an authorized trailer or accessory carrier, ensure you correctly configure the dedicated trailer menu settings in the system (if equipped). If configured manually by the driver, or when factory-installed trailer wiring automatically recognizes the connection, certain driver assistance features may be restricted or disabled for safety. Refer to Driver assistance system limitations for full details.

Be aware that adjusting the Warning Methods in this menu may automatically synchronize with and apply to the alert settings of other integrated driver assistance systems on your Kia Telluride.

Your selected Warning Methods configuration will remain saved in vehicle memory even after turning off the engine and restarting the car.
