To adjust Warning Methods while the vehicle is ON, select Setup > Vehicle > Driver Assistance > Warning Methods on the infotainment screen. The following setting can be changed:
Parking Safety Priority: Reduces the volume of other audio sources while Surround View Monitor is active, helping important parking information remain easier to notice.
TIP
The selected Warning Methods settings may also apply to other driver assistance systems in the Kia Telluride.
Warning Methods keep the most recent settings after the vehicle is turned OFF and restarted.
Depending on vehicle equipment and market specification, the Warning Methods menu may not be available on all models.

While the vehicle is ON, tap the setup icon (
) or open Setup >
Vehicle > Driver Assistance > Parking
Safety > Camera Settings on the infotainment screen to customize Surround View Monitor settings.
Display Contents: Allows you to choose which parking assistance information appears on the camera display.
Parking Distance Warning
When Parking Distance Warning is selected, the warning information appears in the top-right area of the Surround View Monitor screen whenever the warning is activated.
Rear View Parking Guidance
When Rear View Parking Guidance is selected, guidance lines are displayed in the Rear View to help estimate the vehicle’s path and distance while reversing.
Top View Parking Guidance
When Top View Parking Guidance is selected, the guidance display appears in the top-right area of the Surround View Monitor screen whenever Front Top View or Rear Top View is active.
Display settings
Display settings allow you to adjust the camera image brightness for day or night use and modify contrast for clearer visibility in different lighting conditions.
TIP
Some camera settings may not be available depending on the features and specifications of your Kia Telluride.
The horizontal Parking Guidance lines shown on the Surround View Monitor indicate approximate distances of 20 in (0.5 m), 40 in (1 m), and 91 in (2.3 m) from the vehicle.
The horizontal scale used by Top View Parking Lines indicates the liftgate opening area and an approximate distance of 79 in (2 m) from the vehicle.
While the vehicle is ON, select Setup > Vehicle > Driver Assistance > Parking Safety > Surround View Monitor Auto On on the infotainment screen to enable or disable the function.

Surround View Monitor operationThe outside temperature is displayed on the multi-function display (color LCD).
NOTE
The outside temperature indicator shows the temperature around the sensor. However, the temperature may not be indicated correctly or the update may be delayed in the following conditions. While parking or driving at low speeds When the outside temperature changes suddenly (example: when going in and out of an underground parking area or when passing through a tunnel) When starting the engine after being parked for a certain period of time The temperature unit cannot be changed.
