The second-row seat can also be released by pulling the emergency strap located beneath the seatback. A label attached to the strap identifies its location for easier access.

WARNING
Never operate the walk-in switch or release strap while the Kia Telluride is moving or while someone is seated in the second-row seat. Sudden seat movement could result in serious injury.
Once released, the second-row seatback folds forward and the seat automatically slides to its forward-most position, providing easier access to the third row.
WARNING
Do not pull the emergency release strap while the second-row seats are occupied.
Unexpected seat movement may cause injury. The emergency strap should only be used if the normal folding switch located on the upper seatback or outer side of the second-row seat does not operate correctly.
