Checking the washer fluid level
The washer fluid reservoir on your Kia Telluride features a translucent plastic design, making it quick and simple to check fluid levels during routine under-hood inspections.

Regularly check the washer fluid level and top it off whenever necessary. While clean water may be used temporarily in mild weather, always fill the reservoir with commercially formulated windshield washer solvent containing anti-freeze protection in cold climates to prevent the fluid from freezing solid and cracking the reservoir tank or pump.

Never pour engine coolant or radiator anti-freeze into the windshield washer fluid reservoir.

Radiator coolant leaves a greasy smear when sprayed onto glass, blocking the driver's sightline, increasing accident risk, and potentially damaging body paint and rubber trim.

Commercial windshield washer formulations contain alcohol additives that can ignite under high heat. Keep open flames, sparks, and lit cigarettes away from the washer reservoir during refilling to prevent fire or personal injury.

Windshield washer solvent contains toxic chemical compounds that are poisonous to humans and pets. Never ingest the fluid, avoid inhaling vapors, and prevent prolonged skin contact to avoid serious health risks.
