Subaru Forester: Rear seats / Armrest (if equipped)

To lower the armrest, pull down the top
edge of the armrest.
WARNING
- To avoid serious injury, passengers
must never sit on the center
armrest.
- When using the seatbelt, do not
allow it to become tangled with
an arm rest. The seatbelt will not
perform its original function in an
emergency and it may cause a
serious injury.
WARNING
When you fold down the seatback,
check that there are no
passengers or objects on the rear
seat. Not doing so creates a risk
of injury or property damage if
the seatback suddenly folds
down...
Other information:
WARNING
Do not use a seatbelt extender. If
a seatbelt extender is used when
installing a child restraint system,
the seatbelt will not securely
hold the child restraint system.
Use of a seatbelt extender could
cause death or serious injury to
children or other passengers in
sudden braking, swerving, or
accidents...
The tire pressure monitoring system provides
the driver with the warning message
indicated by sending a signal from a
sensor that is installed in each wheel when
tire pressure is severely low.
The tire pressure monitoring system will
activate only when the vehicle is driven...
