Subaru Forester: Uniform tire quality grading standards / TRACTION AA, A, B, C
The traction grades, from highest to
lowest, are AA, A, B and C. Those
grades represent the tire’s ability to
stop on wet pavement as measured
under controlled conditions on specified
government test surfaces of
asphalt and concrete.
A tire marked C may have poor
traction performance.
WARNING
The traction grade assigned to
this tire is based on straightahead
braking traction tests,
and does not include acceleration,
cornering, hydroplaning,
or peak traction characteristics.
The temperature grades are A (the
highest), B, and C, representing the
tire’s resistance to the generation of
heat and its ability to dissipate heat
when tested under controlled conditions
on a specified indoor laboratory
test wheel...

NOTE
If the access key fob is not detected
within the operating range of the antennas
inside the vehicle, the push-button
ignition switch and the engine start
cannot be operated.
Even when the access key fob is
outside the vehicle, if it is placed too
close to the glass, it may be possible to
switch the power or to start the engine...
CAUTION
When washing the vehicle, the
brakes may get wet. As a result,
the brake stopping distance will
be longer. To dry the brakes, drive
the vehicle at a safe speed while
lightly depressing the brake pedal
to heat up the brakes.
Do not wash the engine compartment
and area adjacent to it...
