Subaru Forester: Cargo area cover (if equipped) / Stowage of the cargo area cover
The cargo area cover can be stowed in
under the cargo floor.

- Pull the strap to open the center part of
the cargo floor lid, and then remove the lid.
- Remove the left and right parts of the
cargo floor lid.

- Stow the cover housing in the cargo
area end.
To remove the front cover
Push the front cover to the right side
and shorten the bar.
Remove the front cover.
To remove the cover housing
Rewind the cover.
Push the cover housing to the right
side and shorten it.
Take it off the retainer.
..
Insert the protrusion located on the
right end of the sleeve into the recess of
the retainer.
Push the cover housing to the right
side and shorten the bar...
Other information:
If towing is necessary, it is best done by
your SUBARU dealer or a commercial
towing service. Observe the following
procedures for safety.
WARNING
Never tow AWD models with the
front wheels raised off the ground
while the rear wheels are on the
ground, or with the rear wheels
raised off the ground while the front
wheels are on the ground...
